Step 1 of 3

Before

Prepare concerns comfortably

STEADY organises your symptoms, timeline and concerns into a clear script you can bring with you.

Built for real healthcare

Healthcare is rarely experienced alone.

STEADY is designed for patients and for the people who support them.

For patients

Prepare clearly before a consultation and capture what you understood afterwards while it is still fresh.

For families and carers

Use STEADY on behalf of someone you care for, including elderly relatives, children, or patients who need support advocating for themselves.

For accessibility

Accessible checklists, read-aloud support and simple prompts help patients communicate without relying on memory alone.

Not just an idea

Developed with clinicians and patients

Up to 80% of medical information is forgotten after a consultation, and nearly half of what's remembered is wrong. Kessels, 2003 · Joint Commission Journal, 2023

Clinical co-design

Developed with input from King's Health Partners and the KCL GP Faculty.

Recognised early

Finalist, MTF Ignite Accelerator. Advisory input from the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering.

Tested with patients

Early testing with NHS patients found strong reported intent to reuse STEADY for future appointments.

"It makes it easier for both the patient and the GP."

Maryam Ahmed, GP in London, on how patients struggle to structure and clearly convey their concerns, and how STEADY helps.

Non-negotiable

Clinical Safety and Privacy

Clinical safety isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

Private and on-device

All processing happens on your iPhone using Apple's built-in intelligence. No cloud processing of health data, no accounts, no analytics.

You control all sharing

Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to share it, like handing your GP a summary you exported yourself.

Designed to support communication, not clinical decisions

STEADY is not a medical device. It gives no diagnosis and no treatment recommendation. Your clinician does that.

Where STEADY stands: Based on its current intended use, STEADY is designed as an informational and organisational tool, not clinical decision-support software. It supports, never replaces, the conversation between you and your healthcare professional.

For GP Practices

The app is free for patients, always. Practices that partner with us receive structured onboarding, support with patient engagement and a clear evaluation of patient experience, communication and recall, evidence you can take to your PCN. STEADY is being developed alongside NHS clinicians and patients, and we are speaking with practices interested in early pilots.

The vision

Healthcare has infrastructure for clinicians.
STEADY is building the communication layer for patients.

Starting with the GP consultation, the moment where communication most often breaks down.

"My grandfather's care after his subarachnoid haemorrhage shaped everything I believe about clinical communication."

Built by Advay Mehta, third year medical student at King's College London and incoming MPhil candidate at the University of Cambridge
